Hey y’all - I’m Skylar! Blackwater Place is where you can show up, create and focus on your clients. As a professional photographer, I curate the best studio equipment and anticipate those little details to make your shoot a breeze. When you show up to the property, my hope is that you are able to take a deep breath and soak up the natural beauty of the grounds. You’ll smell the herbs growing on the porch, hear the sound of crickets at dusk and find respite from the noise of the daily grind.

I absolutely adore Blackwater place! The space is so versatile and has a ton of options no matter what shoot you have coming up. Skylar provides all the lighting you need, as well as props galore!
Booking the space is easy and affordable! It is very welcoming and is a place to sink into and make yourself at home. I have really enjoyed photographing babies in this space! Milestone photography is a perfect genre for this venue and all of my clients LOVE it!
